He had one electronic issue which Ford took care of at no cost.
I remember around 34-mpg in steady, constant-speed interstate at around 65-mph with A/C on.
If your normal commute is around 22-miles, you've essentially got an EV.
The engine will start periodically just to exercise the engine and burn a little fuel. Like a Volt. A tank of gas can last a long time.
The heated seats save some battery capacity during cold spells. Something he wishes his BOLT had.
