I have an inside guy at the tolk coal fired power station. I'm going to have him see if there is any way they will sell coal. They buy high quality low sulfur powder basin coal from Wyoming. It appears to be a bit lower grade than tractor supply Ohio mined, nearly graphite coal. It will probably burn a lot easier too.

Well I burned that small hill worth of wood chips. Saved a lot of fire wood. Every time I lit the coal furnace a load of wood chips went up, about 40lb. One night when it was about 2F I just kept shoveling in wood chips and burned nearly a whole municipal trash bin worth.
The wood chipper has increased wood yield about 20% to 30%. 2 to 3 and a half gallons of gas made that small hill of wood chips.
