I am using much of what I learned from building my drag car to help get the most out of my daily driver now for mileage. Getting your engine and drive train the most effecient will help performance and mileage.

Looks great! Do you race for points? Did you ever get to race at the ET Finals for your division? I won the 87 NHRA Div 3 ET Finals in that same old 84 Plymouth Horizon that I was driving back and forth to the track! Back then it had the 5 speed and ran high 15s nearly stock since it was one of 84 built with the HO Shelby carb motor. I was breaking 2 trannies a year so switched to automatics and a lot less powerful motors for $$$ savings.
