Yesterday's prices in my area:
Petrol: USD 6.15 per US Gal, EUR 1.48 per litre
Diesel: USD 7.03 per US Gal, EUR 1.69 per litre
On the day that Russia attacked Ukraine, I filled up in the morning for 5.50PLN/L. That same evening I saw a 2km(!) queue of waiting cars to the fuel station, where the price had already jumped to 9-10PLN/L.
Poland gets the majority of its oil and gas from Russia, no way to suddenly replace all of it with a different supplier overnight.
Question is: Purchase from Russia and fund its war? Or boycott Russia, limiting supply on the market, driving the price up, so whatever Russia does sell, it sells for much more?
