So I’ve worked some on the Civic and it’s misfire. Took off the distributor cap and there were metallic filings and bits floating around, cleaning them out took care of the misfire, but it’s now throwing a code 9 (CEL comes on within the first few minutes of any trip), which is indicated as cylinder position sensor. I’m not yet familiar enough with OBD1 Hondas to know exactly where that is, but I’m surmising that it works the same as a cam position sensor, because mileage goes in the toilet when the light is on
