Why couldn't you get the proper offset steel rims and bite the bullet on price for load range F in a standard 225-85-15. The rear axle on my F250 accomodates singles or duallies with just a lug change and huge offset rims with hideous fender scab-ons. Load range F does 3600 ish pounds a tire @85 psi. If you weigh it and stay under 7200 lbs on the rears you're legal. The concern is driving it in different jurisdictions where they go by the door tag GMVW.
