Why couldn't you get the proper offset steel rims and bite the bullet on price for load range F in a standard 225-85-15. The rear axle on my F250 accomodates singles or duallies with just a lug change and huge offset rims with hideous fender scab-ons. Load range F does 3600 ish pounds a tire @85 psi. If you weigh it and stay under 7200 lbs on the rears you're legal. The concern is driving it in different jurisdictions where they go by the door tag GMVW.

If you knew how many vehicles I see with "unfit" tires, yet nowadays to a much lesser extent on commercial vehicles... Presumably liability has a bigger role on that, and I guess a highway patroller would be more strict enforcing the usage of proper tires on a cabover like your Isuzu than on a Ram 5500 or Ford F-550 for instance.

I like it! I want one now. I'm guessing the underside isn't very aerodynamic. A front air dam should help if you don't want to make the whole underside smooth. I'd wrap the air dam around to the front tires.

I'd like to see some tuft testing!

Maybe some inspiration from those European and Brazilian truck-racing series for aeromods could lead to some good results.
