I read about a guy that had a Civic with a bad engine and a bad corvette with a good engine.
I believe that he needed to move the firewall at least a foot.
This monstrosity is called the Civette and, apparently, the owner isn't finished after fifteen years.
All right. I hate everything. When I write "a" and then hit shift to properly capitalize Civic I get "A Civic."
Why does it capitalize both the previous and the next word?
If it doesn't capitalize a proper noun not commonly used otherwise and I backspace the space it always inserts whether I want it or not, and then I hit shift it doesn't capitalize the previous word, it just replaces the space that I never wanted.
It neither likes "apparently" or "capitalize" because every single time it gives me "apartamento" and "casualidad," respectively.
Can it just give me incorrect words in the language I am using?!
I wonder if Microsoft is responsible for people putting spaces before punctuation because my keyboard always does it and people don't fix things!
When I correct the mess it gives me after hitting all of the letters I wanted, it never guesses what I originally wrote until I finish, but if I add a second P to apartamento it immediately suggests the correct word, but then I get "apparently artamento" because it absolutely refuses to acknowledge any letters after the cursor. It only pays attention to the letters before the cursor unless I forget that I am dealing with an idiot and just swype the rest of the word because the rest of the word is a word by itself.
Does it leave the part of the word that I just fixed and add the word I just swyped?
Oh no, of course not.
Does it split up the compound word, at least giving me everything I told it, but with a space in the middle for no reason?
No, it gives me a completely random word in the wrong language.
It is almost as bad as apple when it comes to trying to edit the middle of words. It honestly seems like apple doesn't want you to edit any words except by backspacing through the good letters until you get to the one bad one.
When I tap right where I want to edit a word it invariable moves to the end, so I need to do it again.
All right, enough is enough. I cannot change Mom, but I can change my keyboard.
Of course. I have Swype installed on my old phone, but that was discontinued years ago.
I read that SwiftKey is better anyway.
Microsoft SwiftKey.
Fun fact: I swyped Microsoft six times and it gave me "microsystems" each and every time.
Apparently this is at least partially responsible for people randomly capitalizing words in the middle of a sentence.
My keyboard did it.
Why didn't you fix it?
What is this, the Spanish Inquisition?!
That page recommended Go Keyboard, but that appears to be Chinese Spyware.
The other ones just seemed bizarre. Some don't allow swyping!
Maybe I can't change my keyboard.
I tried to install something called Ginger, but it says it needs to reboot my phone, and then I need to unlock it.
Ah. The normal unlock, like with a PIN.
At first I thought that I needed to hack my OS.
Jailbreaking?
Whatever. It is 01 and I normally wake up at 0730 to get ready for work.
