My comment about reading the links was targeted at your statement that they didn't use wildfire smoke for the test. It clearly says they tested during a wildfire event.

As to the contents of wildfire smoke - do you believe that passing air though the same merv 13 filter at higher CFM removes different compounds?

CFM is the only difference between your filter using a bathroom exhaust fan, a filter made with a box fan, or putting a merv 13 filter in your HVAC system. The more CFM the faster a filter will clear a room.
