I wasn't suggesting killing any particular idea, only describing how ideas live.

They are embodied by humans, simple as that.

Ideas themselves aren't bad, only when destructive ones are practiced do they manifest dysfunction. They exist as a virtual reality played out in our minds to better predict what would happen in reality if put into practice.
