We got an unofficial best of over 80 MPG with the Sonata in real world driving. I guarantee anybody that is getting 50 MPG on a stock Sonata that takes it to Roush will get close to window sticker results. That is why Roush testing is so profound! It isolates engine efficiency from driving style.
As for "Before and After" testing, the FTP-75 test Roush conducted was the protocol used to establish the window sticker mileage. So you could say the Before number was the window sticker.
As for doing a Roush test, making a single modification, repeat Roush test... we were fortunate enough to be able to afford the testing we did. Maybe I'll do a search of this site and see if ANYBODY ELSE has paid for such comprehensive testing to back their mileage claims.
