It bolts from the dash crossmember inside computer cluster down to the exhaust tunnel. Carbon on the outside then around 6 directional 600gsm glass weaves on the inside. Stronger than the 6061 t6 bolt shear, think thats 210. Although without the sat nav, 6 cd changer, glove box, heating system, and passenger airbag it's fine. Also the new dash I make will only be about 200g with pine laminate, I'm a sucker for the lighter colour woods
