Virginia 'Beach' inland 90-miles

Also from PBS NOVA: 'POLAR EXTREMES'.
Host, Kirk Johnson, Sant Director, National Museum of Natural Science, was at a commercial gravel quarry, 90-miles inland from Virginia Beach, Virginia, digging up perfectly-preserved clamshells out of the 3,000,000-year-old strata.
3,000,000 years ago, the atmospheric carbon-dioxide level was 400 ppmv, and sea level was 60-feet higher than today. Presently, we're @ 412.5 ppmv.
As the months and years unfold, sea level will return to it's former 60-foot higher level. Nothing 'catastrophic.'
That would be Thwaites Glacier, a near- instantaneous five-foot seal level rise.
Reserve your tickets, popcorn, and soda-pop.
