I received a notification for a science report, which are often more reporting than actual science--editorializing? I understood the article, but questioned how accurate it was. It linked to this, the original article which I had difficulty understanding.

The easy-to-understand one also mentioned putting these on factories. Those aren't supposed to move, but their exhaust sure does, so I wonder how much it needs to absorb to be considered viable.

It absorbs the carbon and only releases it above a certain temperature. Would they periodically replace it or heat it up somewhere more convenient to capture carbon?

If it is the latter it just sounds like extra steps.
