Yes, I get that but the kind of door that Arcimoto has promised their customers takes hundreds of thousands of dollars in tooling.

Yes, you could knock out a fabric covered steel tube door with little tooling but that is not what customers want nor what they promised.

I can't see any aftermarket company making doors on their own for a vehicle selling at a rate of about 10 a month.
