I'm on page 29.

Reacher might be some cultural reference.

Rather than a solar roof, I'd like to see a clamshell boat tail on 3-axis mounts at the rear of the upper frame. When they weren't open like beetle's outer wing covers, they would be a boat tail.

Jack Reacher: Fictional character in a series of novels, movies, and now a streaming series on Amazon.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Reacher

All is not well over at Arcimoto:

1. The founder and CEO got arrested for DUI and was removed as CEO by the board
2. They only made 26 vehicles in 1Q2022.
3. They made 102 vehicles in 2Q2022 but only delivered 41 to customers.
4. They lost $17.4 million in the 2nd quarter - more than twice what they lost in 2Q2021
5. They only have $5 million in cash left.

There is also a backlog of people waiting on doors. Unclear what the future holds . .

Yikes!

Frohnmayer has been demoted to chief vision officer. Jess Fittipaldi, formerly the company’s chief strategy officer, will take the helm. The company is expected to announce its latest financial results on Monday.
Awaiting comment from my sources.

The latest quarterly results are out - they aren't good.

To a much minor extent, but it seems as easy as it was back in the Jeep CJ-5 days when so many aftermarket suppliers provided canvas doors and tops. It might be the case for some of those suppliers working with side-by-side ATVs to repurpose some of their current products to fit an Arcimoto.

Having worked in the UTV industry for a small manufacturer it is harder than you might think to find suppliers. Those suppliers want a guarantee of large volumes to spend the hundreds of thousands to tool up. Either that or for the customer to pay for the tooling and development out of pocket and in advance.

When I was working for a tier 1 transaxle supplier we had some small customers in Europe. Not only did they pay 3x what a large customer paid for the same transaxle they had to pay up front or take out insurance to guarantee payment if they defaulted.

Then there is the reality of the current supply chain. Nobody is going to take John Deere or Polaris tooling out of production to run 100 doors for a tiny company like Arcimoto. The big guys come first in good times - they really come first right now.

I doubt that's the problem.

The 'upper frame' doesn't offer a proper door jamb.

When I say aftermarket, I don't mean OEM level only. For instance soft tops for Jeeps, they can be sourced either from larger suppliers or from some cottage industry. The same principle of sourcing from smaller suppliers could apply to door sets for the Arcimoto.

Yes, I get that but the kind of door that Arcimoto has promised their customers takes hundreds of thousands of dollars in tooling.

Yes, you could knock out a fabric covered steel tube door with little tooling but that is not what customers want nor what they promised.

I can't see any aftermarket company making doors on their own for a vehicle selling at a rate of about 10 a month.
