I wouldn't go to 3.08 gearing, 3.55 would be better, you could change the rear wheels to srw, then put wheel arch covers.

So - i doubt i need duals for my payload (but i can weigh it and verify) but 2 less wheels and tires to deal with would be
just fine by me
