And as long as the 'Due Process Clause' of the 14th Amendment to the US Constitution continues to recognize corporations as 'persons', those persons ( with virtually-unlimited economic resources from unpaid reparations ) will have an enormous political war chest to help kill off any, and all legislation which would attempt to usurp their hegemony.
It's not 'free-market' capitalism they really desire.
