The Safeway app has great deals, which I expect to become very mediocre once they achieve their targets for training their customers to use the app. 5 cent mangos, 10 cent corn on the cob... they pick the order and substitute better stuff if they don't have exactly what you want. Then they bring all the bags of groceries to the car in a couple minutes. Suckers go to the grocery store hungry, and then pick items off the shelf.
We're approaching the Golden Age. It's silly how much time is wasted handling food dozens of times before it goes in my belly.
As an aside, food doesn't make people fat, just like my car doesn't get into a wreck. The entities with agency direct the entities that don't have agency, and the results of those decisions are manifest.
