Subatomic energy potential is orders of magnitude greater than chemical energy potential by weight/volume.
I mentioned it before, but i was surprised to learn that Earth's core heat is sustained by nuclear decay; mostly Thorium. Most of my life I assumed it was residual heat from formation plus tidal friction.
Humanity is only scratching the surface of potential.
