I figure most decades have their ups and downs. I mean, Vietnam war in the 70s... I think fondly of the years comprising my youth too, and that included the tech crash and 9/11 (not to mention a year of incarceration).

The '20s aren't off to a good start.

I watched "Sometimes a Great Notion". Paul Newman, right? It's been a long time so I'm not getting the reference, plus I only get about 1/3rd of your references (I think) typically.

For instance, I'm thinking the warthog reference is related to brrrrrrrrp, but I'm never certain with your context-lite references.

I've always had a hard time placing more blame on the supplier than the customer. Addiction to wealth and power is at least as much a thing as addiction to substances; both are chemical addictions formed in the mind. I suppose from a practical standpoint it's easier to take out the fewer suppliers than the multitudes of buyers.
