As I said, the Prius didn't need to get more efficient, it needed to grow a pair. Apparently the new one has, so it should be better...

That said, the Gen III ground clearance was as low as a vehicle should go. The main mounts to my undertray were ground off, and I scraped like mad going up "Ed's Trail" even using extreme steering and carefully picking my lines.

The car should not have gone lower, but many people complained about handling (I bet 99% take corners slower than me). Now they get a stiffer, scrapier ride.
