I used to occasionally splurge on a $5 Hot-n-ready Little Ceasar's large pepperoni pizza. It wasn't much of a splurge though because it fed me through lunch and dinner. Eating all day for $5 and not wasting time in a grocery store, cooking, and cleaning is not a bad deal.
Round Table pizza used to have an epic lunch buffet with various pizzas, a massive salad bar, and unlimited chicken wings for like $7. I'd skip breakfast, stuff myself at lunch, and still be full at dinner. I'd ask for a particular pizza, they'd "remind me" that they don't do special orders, and then the next pizza that came out was the one I "suggested".
