Considering all of the work I put into sanding, priming, painting, and curing my oil pan I kind of wish I had just bought one!
Here is a better view:

There is another one on the opposite corner, but it is outside of the gasket.

The aluminum EX\HX Civic oil pan has similar holes on opposite corners, but the steel DX\LX one doesn't.


While I wait for my Camry gasket I have been trying to find out exactly how atrocious it would be to replace the transmission gaskets and seals.

I haven't gotten anywhere!

I went through the 301 transmission-related pages of the FSM and paid for a month of AllDataDIY, but cannot find anything relevant.
