Youtube insisted I should watch the video. Turns out I was wrong, I replaced the heating element, not the sacrificial anode.

My heater has no connections on the top, hot at the top of the side and cold at the bottom. And it doesn't have the fancy feature with only one heating element.

Since I long ago raised the bathroom vanity up 2" I could R&R the heater into an insulated box. I already have a manual on/off switch.

One disappointment was he used the term 'dip tube' when one of my new favorites is 'downcomer'.
