I don't even want a doctor. I want a fully automated full body MRI every couple years and an AI algorithm that performs an analysis. Should be dirt cheap if they become commonplace, and considering no humans are involved except to service the automated machines. Even that should be automated at some point.
Instead of machines to diagnose, for instance, a dermatology condition, we have 1 set of eyeballs look at the skin, access the limited database of what those 1 set of eyeballs have seen over the years, which is stored on a feeble meat-based storage device, and then guesses are presented based on that.
My phone tells me what flower a plant produces based on an image of the leaves alone in less than 1 second, for free.
We insist on making things more difficult and less efficient.
