I never finished looking up there. I am going to try before I am supposed to see that client who is supposed to be on probation, but they connected last week, and he worked!
While a radiologic technologist scans patients, radiation therapists treats them.
That makes sense, right?
They just sound similar, but I couldn't figure out what the first one did before.
Nuclear medicine technologist inject patients with radiation and then scan them.
An ultrasonographer does ultrasounds.
I finally went to apply to grad school in Mesa and I cannot even get in the site. I lost my login credentials when Windows crashed, and requesting to reset my password yields a message claiming they are totally going to do that, and then they totally don't do anything.
Well, time to wait for a whiny client to connect!

I might build my own x-ray machine.
If it saves me 1 trip to the hospital it pays for its self 11 times over.

When will we have an app for that?!
There are infrared attachments for smart phones, maybe an x-ray addition?

I don't even want a doctor. I want a fully automated full body MRI every couple years and an AI algorithm that performs an analysis. Should be dirt cheap if they become commonplace, and considering no humans are involved except to service the automated machines. Even that should be automated at some point.
Instead of machines to diagnose, for instance, a dermatology condition, we have 1 set of eyeballs look at the skin, access the limited database of what those 1 set of eyeballs have seen over the years, which is stored on a feeble meat-based storage device, and then guesses are presented based on that.
My phone tells me what flower a plant produces based on an image of the leaves alone in less than 1 second, for free.
We insist on making things more difficult and less efficient.

So what you're saying is.... you're X-Ray Curie-ous?
They're talking to me about a home INR ratio test. That monthly test, and groceries, is the only time I leave the house.

Oh no I would use an old xray tube, not sure what I would do for a power supply, floreoscope paper and a piece of lead glass so at least the business end is shielded.

It's not a strict rule. At BRING* today someone asked me about my Arcimoto hat. His friends work[ed] for them.
at the Post Office, I rant about how we had Postal Banking until the 1960s.

USPS Begins Postal Banking Pilot Program - The American Prospect
4 Oct 2021The United States Postal Service (USPS) has taken the most dramatic step in a half-century to re-establish a postal banking system in America. In four pilot cities, customers can now cash payroll or business checks of up to $500 at post office locations, and have the money put onto a single-use gift card.

I might work too closely that it's not obscure enough of a reference. Most of your references go right over my head though.

Curie (unit) - Wikipedia
The curie (symbol Ci) is a non- SI unit of radioactivity originally defined in 1910. According to a notice in Nature at the time, it was to be named in honour of Pierre Curie, [1] but was considered at least by some to be in honour of Marie Skłodowska-Curie as well, [2] and is in later literature considered to be named for both.
