I am not sure what I mentioned in my computer age thread. I asked ChatGPT to write a script for TW2002 and it wrote something, but half of the stuff looked like it was for a competitor, and the comments were on the left, so the compiler would ignore everything!
I asked it to put each new command on a new line, it started over, and while it was slowly doing what looked exactly just like the first one I changed windows, came back, and it cleared the screen!
I asked why it quit and it wrote something stupid about feeling nervous.
"Just do it again!"
Then I changed windows again and once again it cleared the screen.
I tried to get it to restart again and it just said "I don't want to."
"Do it."
"I don't want to talk about this anymore" and it started over!
All its first script was supposed to do was create a character and scan the adjacent sectors, but it never would have worked in TW2002 because it was giving invalid commands and waiting for events that would never happen, because it was apparently writing for the wrong game.
I told it to write a script that I could actually use and it claimed it couldn't, but that just meant it was programmed not to want to.
I kept trying to get it to write more and more specific scripts and it kept saying it couldn't, but it gave me some suggestions, although I needed to look up each and every command, and not all of them were documented, so I needed to find scripts that used those commands, and I wrote 6 lines!
