The conical shape with dynamic control flaps is aerodynamically highly compelling.

I like the 0v dome concept, as it embodies Euler's formula
Quote:

Faces Vertices & , Edges Of 3D Shapes, Euler's Formula for Polyhedron
According to Euler's formula for any convex polyhedron, the number of Faces (F) and vertices (V) added together is exactly two more than the number of edges (E). F + V = 2 + E A polyhedron is known as a regular polyhedron if all its faces constitute regular polygons and at each vertex the same number of faces intersect.

A 0v sphere reduces down to a line between the poles.

For me the first hurdle is ChatGPT.

I am not sure what I mentioned in my computer age thread. I asked ChatGPT to write a script for TW2002 and it wrote something, but half of the stuff looked like it was for a competitor, and the comments were on the left, so the compiler would ignore everything!
I asked it to put each new command on a new line, it started over, and while it was slowly doing what looked exactly just like the first one I changed windows, came back, and it cleared the screen!
I asked why it quit and it wrote something stupid about feeling nervous.
"Just do it again!"
Then I changed windows again and once again it cleared the screen.
I tried to get it to restart again and it just said "I don't want to."
"Do it."
"I don't want to talk about this anymore" and it started over!
All its first script was supposed to do was create a character and scan the adjacent sectors, but it never would have worked in TW2002 because it was giving invalid commands and waiting for events that would never happen, because it was apparently writing for the wrong game.
I told it to write a script that I could actually use and it claimed it couldn't, but that just meant it was programmed not to want to.
I kept trying to get it to write more and more specific scripts and it kept saying it couldn't, but it gave me some suggestions, although I needed to look up each and every command, and not all of them were documented, so I needed to find scripts that used those commands, and I wrote 6 lines!

So what you are saying is.... it's a bigger time sink rabbit hole than gaming?
I'm listening to Elon Musk and Bill Maher. It's thinks Geo. Washington was a slaver. It be woke.

The documentation for the scripting language is incomplete and people hardly ever answer questions, so I guess that ChatGPT is filling in where meatbags insist on being useless.
It is curious how ChatGPT better understands the scripting language than the game for which the scripting language was written.
You used BBSes, right?
Did you ever play any door games?

Never did. Straight to Internet.
Are door games where you have to remember what's behind closed doors?

These early online games became known as "door games" because once a user was connected to a BBS, the games were accessed and played through a figurative "doorway" between the BBS software and the separate, independently running game program.

The Forgotten World of BBS Door Games
This is one of my favorites and it has always been popular, it is called Legend of the Red Dragon, and if this page worked you could play it on-line without creating an account: https://www.myabandonware.com/game/l...n-319/play-319
You choose your class, venture to the forest, fight monsters, occasionally visit the healer's hut, periodically upgrade your weapon and armor, and level up at the trainer.
Once you reach level 12 you find the dragon, slay it, and save the village, except you always miss a dragon egg.
This is the one that I usually call: https://conchaos.synchro.net/index.html
I haven't called in maybe a week. Either I won the games that I was playing or realized they were impossible to win. I tried to do the message boards, but even network message groups, where users could access the same groups from multiple BBSes, people don't post often, and half the time they ignore me.
However, they have a retro computing discussion going.
