Timer allows me to have coffee ready for my wife before I might be ready to make it for her.
I don't like hot coffee and don't understand how people can drink it without the skin on the roof of their mouth sloughing off while simultaneously killing their taste buds, so adjustable temp is a requirement.
What I'd really pay extra for is a pot that has a capacitor capable of maintaining the time when power goes out. I think I found 1 model with that capability, but it didn't check some other boxes.
My list of requirements isn't long, but it does tend to eliminate most models from consideration.
... I'd like to start daily grinding the coffee. That, and a bit of frothed milk makes a superb cup.
