some things about LightShip to chew on

1) It's primarily a 'wake-rider', its nose embedded within the wake of the tow vehicle. Check!
2) It's 'gap-filled', using NASA's proven low-drag technology. Check!'
3) The entire forebody is within a favorable pressure gradient, the pressure minimum downstream of hitch ball, guaranteeing flow reattachment. Check!
4) There are absolutely 'zero' excrescences anywhere on the exterior surface of the body. Completely flush. Check!
5) 28% of the overall length the trailer is 'aft-body' just as with NASA's 'shoebox.' Check!
6) LightShips wake is more than 29% smaller than its frontal area, making the tow vehicle experience a trailer, virtually no larger than my T-100 pickup. Check!
7) At 55-mph, compared to an Airstream Classic, Lightship's frontal area allows it to displace only 562-tons of air per hour, compared to 795-tons for the Airstream. Check!
8) If we were to take LightShip's air drag claimed to be the same as that of a Tesla Model 3, this would place it's drag coefficient ( in tow ) in the neighborhood of Cd 0.112, compare to Cd 0.2361 for the Airstream Classic, which is in very good agreement with values published by Sighard Hoerner, for streamlined train boat-tailed tail cars ( Cd 0.10 @ 100% boat-tailing ). Check!
The Bowlus Road Chief Lithium folks should be having 'conversations.'
