A couple of guys in a Tesla Model S were at the local Tesla charging site. The owner had intentionally driven the car until it 'quit.' And that was over the Red River, in Oklahoma.
He had paid $120 to be towed to Denton, and was about to go eat while the car took on electrons.
He'd referred to what he'd done as 'bricking' it.
In the future I'll just say that all available battery capacity had been consumed.
I hear that some portion of packs are firewalled off, to protect them from being totally discharged.
