I like Scott for suggesting things I would never think of. That said, often the things I would never think of are because the idea is too stupid to be worthy of thinking about. Case in point; advanced prior civilizations that built machines that burrowed underground and continue to function, but yet to be discovered by us. It's not an idea worth my consideration.

Not all proposed ideas are worth consideration though. If I had an hour long show every single day, I'd struggle to keep things fresh while not venturing into the absurd. Scott gets repetitive and absurd, but he mixes in the profound. I'm fairly confident a show hosted by me would contain more repetition and absurdity with less profundity.
