Can't say I agree with Scott that a little Wokism is good. Wrong lens entirely to be evaluating individuals and their behavior. I'm willing to be convinced a little wokeness is useful, but it seems doubtful. By my evaluation, it's like saying a little vision loss is good. I've got an eye exam Wednesday. Can you believe I achieved the age of 35 before noticing my vision was inadequate? There's a metaphor in there somewhere.

When I was twelve, I walked across the road with my nose in a book and almost got run over. My parents took me to an Optometrist and asked if I needed glasses. He stroked his metaphorical beard and said yes.

I've been dependent ever since, but lately I take them off for close work.

A little less wokeism? Eh? Eh?

I agree with him that Joetato got right up. (he did have help on each elbow) Like Gerg Gutfeld said, it's not his body, it's his brainz.

I can't recall the last time I've accidentally fallen, let alone the last 4 times, because it's been so long.

I do recall being surprised I slipped while stepping to the side on a wet and steep hillside to let other hikers by about 7 years ago. I never slip.

Went over the handlebars downhill mountain biking while braking hard to avoid collision with a boulder in the trail, about 7 years ago.

Falling multiple times in recent history, while doing normal things like walking, riding a bicycle, or going up stairs, indicates a problem.

Time is unkind to all.

The Scottster today: Pyramids are real!

He's been watching The Why Files (hereinafter WTF) but didn't prove it, didn't remember the name but he should have remembered Hecklefish.

And he didn't cover the electromagnetic signature of the Pyramid.

stillnessinthestorm.com/2018/07/scientists-find-the-great-pyramid-of-giza-focuses-electromagnetic-energy/

Or the newly opened hidden chamber. .... or the big one over the Grand Gallery they haven't got to yet.

I like Scott for suggesting things I would never think of. That said, often the things I would never think of are because the idea is too stupid to be worthy of thinking about. Case in point; advanced prior civilizations that built machines that burrowed underground and continue to function, but yet to be discovered by us. It's not an idea worth my consideration.

Not all proposed ideas are worth consideration though. If I had an hour long show every single day, I'd struggle to keep things fresh while not venturing into the absurd. Scott gets repetitive and absurd, but he mixes in the profound. I'm fairly confident a show hosted by me would contain more repetition and absurdity with less profundity.

Today he 'saved the best story for last' and then couldn't recall the name of his source.

I was ontroduced to the Pyramids by Peter Tompkins in 1971.

Peter Tompkins - Wikipedia
His best-known books are The Secret Life of Plants (1973), Secrets of the Great Pyramid (1971; paperback reprint, 1997), and Mysteries of the Mexican Pyramids (1976). His Secrets of the Great Pyramid, Mysteries of the Mexican Pyramids and The Magic of Obelisks have become classics of "New Age" literature. [3]
The hardback was a d*amned heavy book. I don't think I had a college text book that weighed more. It's still around here somewhere.

Your 'case in point'? The weasel-word gotcha is '...and continue to function'.

No, because I'm comfortable just leaving it as advanced prior civilizations.

It suffers the same problem as theism; that you can't prove a negative. It's usually not useful to consider things for which there's no evidence of, because there's an infinite number of those things. Is it worthwhile for me to consider unicorns? If yes, then how about unicorns ridden by leprechauns? If yes, then what about unicorns ridden by leprechauns in another dimension?... there's endless combinations of ways to imagine things for which there's no evidence.

Stacking big rocks isn't evidence of advanced burrowing machines undetected by humanity; it's evidence of a primitive culture expending enormous amounts of precious resources to stack big rocks.

Coincidentally, I just watched a Jarid Boosters video The Bad Lands Rock Formations, Do Castles mean Kingdoms? Petrified Remains. Badlands, SD Old Photos

In a just-asking-questions-here mode he presents the story of the Lakota Ghost-dancers claim that their ancestors built the Badlands. Actually, the story is that the 'giants in those days' built the Big Bad Lands and then invited the proto-Lakotans in, which angered $Diety, who smote them into oblivion.

It sounds like peace pipe hippies to me. The Badlands were obviously created by massive electrical discharge machinging from outer space, that lifted massive amounts of rock, a depth equal to the height of the mesas.

The formations have strata, not rooms inside.
