See? Many of the most hardcore EV embracers are looking for self-indulgence more than anything else. Considering a PHEV would have its batteries charged either from the ICE or plugging in, may still make sense even for somebody who has a more difficult access to a recharging outlet, but is still looking for ways to save on gas.
