There were times when I was a teenager living in Florianópolis that I lurked about that, yet the hilly road would make it quite harder to go to Curitiba in a bicycle for a weekend off...

I have seen more bicycles with 2-stroke gasser engines recently, yet it's just a way to circumvent the need for a motorcycle license, which will become required soon and most likely put an end to those makeshifts...

My father is a retired air traffic controller, and I lived close to airfields from when I was born until I was 12y.o., and one of my uncles still works as an aircraft mechanic. I even studied aircraft maintenance BTW. I don't believe automated driving to become the one-size-fits-all it's often portrayed by the media. Most likely it will only be effective in a handful of expressways with a very strictly controlled environment, and even for that I'm not holding my breath...

What scooter? And is the CBR125 a grey import??? How many of your Civics are actually running? BTW when I was a kid I used to see a dune buggy with a fiberglass roof and gullwing doors, which was daily-driven by its owner at that time...

For that total cost, I would be tempted to also do so. Yet most likely I would consider a campervan instead of 5 Civics
