The only negative from hot air is that at some point your ECU is going to start retarding your ignition timing which will reduce efficiency. However, monitoring if the ECU is pulling timing is very difficult as it changes it so quickly. Your best bet is to do some testing. Test it at 150F, then adjust it so its lower and try again. Make a few runs and let us know how it goes. I know I've run my WAI up to about 135F. Not sure I ever got to 150F on my Mirage though.
