With high quality pistons
and cylinders available for under $200 USD for a set of 4, the original VW engine is cheap (and easy) to fix. I have the entire engine (maybe car) layout in my head. I could probably write down every piece of an entire Beetle or Super Beetle and be within 4 or 5 from the actual count.
