It appears in Florida an overlength violation between 2 and 10' is a non-moving violation (no driver points) with a fine of $100 paid on the spot or impounded. The deal breaker however is the vehicle can be prevented from further movement until the infraction is corrected.
Another can of worms I can open, and would lead likely to even greater confusion, if I add any attached trailer, it seems the length requirements upscale to overall combination length of 65' Max.
Guess I might need to build a 3' long uni wheel trailer and put lights and a tag on it, that is liftable for backing?
