The weird thing about weaponizing thorium is every nation with a nuclear weapons program has to know about it. There's no way they don't know about. But only one nation has used it enough to make weapons.
Everyone else is copying the US nuclear weapons program where you enrich a little uranium and breed an obscene amount of plutonium and make all the weapons you could ever use. Or the USSR nuclear weapons program where you use brute force and get a lot of your weapons by digging up the land and enriching uranium.
In the US we already have enough nuclear weapons to end the world afew times over so having a little more U233 isn't going to make us any more dangerous.
