SA celebrated his first annual independence day today. I didn't find it particularly thought provoking, but he was entertaining.

I realize he uses hyperbole as a reframe and influence strategy, but it's a bit over the top for me, and listening to many hours of that personality has likely resulted in my deviation from precise language to hyperbolic.

There's some decision that must be made if it's more important to be precise/correct, or to be effective. What's the point of being precisely ineffective? Unfortunately, humanity isn't tuned to pay attention to precise and honest speech, but instead the imprecise and deceitful speech.
