I just finished listening myself.

There was a lot of "I'm a hypnotist so I can judge you" going on.

That whole thing with the $27 million, billions in property damage and lives lost was obviously 'the madness of crowds' from the start.

Agreed with the 'what else have I been wrong about' part.

SA celebrated his first annual independence day today. I didn't find it particularly thought provoking, but he was entertaining.

I realize he uses hyperbole as a reframe and influence strategy, but it's a bit over the top for me, and listening to many hours of that personality has likely resulted in my deviation from precise language to hyperbolic.

There's some decision that must be made if it's more important to be precise/correct, or to be effective. What's the point of being precisely ineffective? Unfortunately, humanity isn't tuned to pay attention to precise and honest speech, but instead the imprecise and deceitful speech.

I was going to watch, but Elon Musk is offering to double the Bitcoin holdings (0.1 to 100 BTC.) of anyone who can scan a QR code with a smart phone.

Legit? Any way to scan a QR code in a Youtube video?

Looks not legit. Why would Elon have a prize for something most people are capable of doing?

Doubling my holdings would still be zero.

Some places have menus accessible by scanning the table QR code. That opens in a browser and you order and pay from it. The QR code is unique so that the table is uniquely identified.

I am listening to Episode 2392 CWSA 02/22/24. He got 37 minutes into the 76 with stories I hadn't heard about, then he hit a solid ten minute string of bad jokes.

His 'three new founding fathers' I'd heard before but it's a good framing. Him being John Adams? He has the right last name.

He has massively upped his persuasion efforts recently.

The part I find most interesting is the weaponized deep state. In a recent episode, he points out that Al Capone was taken down by the IRS, and we think that's a good thing because we don't like Al Capone. The state weaponized an agency that is ostensibly supposed to randomly audit citizens by singling out a person and devoting outsized resources to investigate.

What if there is a politician that doesn't like what you have to say, so they have the police department place a patrol on the street across from your house. You don't come to a complete stop driving out of the driveway, you don't signal your turn onto the street, you travel 2 MPH over the speed limit, there's a brake light out. Cop throws the book at you.

The gooners that hate you will mindlessly chant "nobody is above the law". Those fools don't realize they are supporting a weapon that can be used against anybody, not just people they don't like.
