' CSP '

If you continue to follow the evolution of CSP in the popular science press, you get to where an 'owner' burns his home down with his CSP while at work one day.
CSP reporting in the press goes 'cold' at that point in time.

My dad and I toured the DOE, ERDA, E-System's pilot CSP power-plant near Crosbyton, Texas in the 1970s.
It performed beyond all engineering expectations, and 200-foot diameter dishes were planned.
ERDA pulled all funding, and the pilot facility was so demolished that, today there's no trace that it ever existed. Just like 'Dad's Corner,' a former Texas oil boom town my dad 'showed' me. Not even a single nail exists.
