Under Mary Barra, who graduated as an electrical engineer, it's quite predictable GM would still go the wrong way on such a hard push toward BEVs as the one-size-fits-all. Hybrids are more reasonable for the average Joe, while BEVs are still pretty much limited to very specific user profiles.
