I listened to both in the background. Lots of fascinating stuff, and I'll have to give another listen to get more stuff to stick.

The one thing I disagree with (and perhaps I'm misunderstanding), is the prediction of the permanent failure of leftism.

As he correctly points out, the political parties are aligned with normative values for risk taking vs risk avoidance between the 2 sexes, which informs the priorities of the 2 political parties.

Since the parties are informed by both sexes, neither can ever permanently fail, as those values will exist so long as the sexes exists.

My favorite Rudyard so far is this discussion. While I disagree with his level of pessimism and predictions for the future, I agree with the underlying logic.
