What spice goes well with humans? Hmmm sounds like a scifi tale concerning lizard people.

I spent an absurd amount of time trying to find the first post I made mentioning my first daughter's birth.
I mentioned something about a consideration for "my daughter", someone asked how old she was, and I looked at my watch and said something like "3hrs". That one is 6 years now.

I'm told people taste like pork, hence referring to cannibalism as "long pig". My guess is you spice just like a pork loin.

Did you catch the part today when he talked about Putin offering asylum to people oppressed by Western Liberalism? His thought: maybe somebody? I've heard stories about people who've done that already. Que one of my favorite musical groups:

Scott Adams has been boring me with his mediocre understanding of economics (despite being an economics major), so I'll talk about something else for now...
A recent whatifalthist video talks about the political triangle, and he's mildly critical of the Political Compass, saying it was created by Libertarians to tilt towards a libertarian agenda. I still find it useful.
The triangle might be even more useful yet. I'll have to see if there is a test online I can take.
The part that overlaps with Scott's recent take on politics is that femininity is more represented by one of the US political parties, and masculinity by the other. Rudyard goes on with an observation that trying to apply the operating system of a nuclear family (communism) to the nation as a whole is always doomed to fail.
We've been culturally feminized to choose feels over reals.

Dr. Steve Turley said recently that the Left-Right axis has collapsed into a Uniparty and all the action is on the Libertarian-Authoritarian axis.

I often refer to it as the Uniparty also, but with regard to spending, which is the same as expanding government authority. The parties argue over who should be doing the oppressing, not whether to oppress.
The demographics bare out the fact that one party more represents the feminine values, and the other masculine. That has a lot of implications as well, such as whether it's more important to affirm ones feelings, or to abide by the nature of reality.

Someone needs to send Mr. Adams a pair of the Nova H1 Audio Earrings and challenge him to wear they on his podcast.
They're only US$1K.

I listened to both in the background. Lots of fascinating stuff, and I'll have to give another listen to get more stuff to stick.
The one thing I disagree with (and perhaps I'm misunderstanding), is the prediction of the permanent failure of leftism.
As he correctly points out, the political parties are aligned with normative values for risk taking vs risk avoidance between the 2 sexes, which informs the priorities of the 2 political parties.
Since the parties are informed by both sexes, neither can ever permanently fail, as those values will exist so long as the sexes exists.
My favorite Rudyard so far is this discussion. While I disagree with his level of pessimism and predictions for the future, I agree with the underlying logic.

Scott was on about crypto erasing the national debt again, but he defended the comment as being a starting point to get people thinking of better ideas. In other words, it's not a dumb idea because it's meant to inspire others to come up with a good idea... yet he is critical of Harris' "idea" of stopping inflation via communist price controls. Maybe Harris is merely seeding the imaginations of others of what might be possible?
... or, my take, that they're dumb ideas and it hasn't inspired my imagination to come up with anything other than the tried and true method of not spending/printing money you don't have.
Why is it unacceptable to require our congress people to perform their #1 most important job; to deliver a budget that is in alignment with revenue? All of them should be fired every time they fail their most important #1 job.
If I paid someone to mow the lawn, and instead they spent their time browbeating people about their carbon footprint, I'd not just fire them, I'd make their reputation known so that nobody else would hire them.
