Yes you can, I tinkered with a flow master on my 7.3 diesel. I cut a path straight through the baffles and welded the lid back on. All the baffles where still there but with a straight hole going through. Cranked it up and realized I had made a silencer, my friend could rev it up and with my head right by the pipe there was only air coming out. I wanted it louder not quieter, so i cut a hole in it and filled it with concrete as best I could. Cranked it up and wow, slightly less effective silencer 😂🙈🙉
