It's pretty much historically inevitable, based on some high positive correlations. The two capitals will be Wash DC vs Austin Texas. That's aerohead country. Wonder how he'll take it?
Civil war prognostication is among the very few (perhaps only) logical faults I have with Rudyard, but I understand why doomsday prophecy is higher value, and he'd agree with at least that.

We've got enough real enemies that will inflict real injury to unite us before we're hunting our uncle who wears the wrong sock color. The unfortunate thing is that we must expose ourselves to enemies before putting away our petty (imaginary) grievances.

Brett and Heather's recent episode moved from a critical take of one political color, to an endorsement of one particular color, which is fascinating to me. That more than anything informs my prediction of the near election.

My enthusiasm for politics must exist in a yet to come timeline, yet I'm very entertained in the meantime.
