I drove the 1948 bread truck until I got my first car, parked in front. It had bunks, a sink, stove and an AM radio. Not standup, but the seat was on a post so it tilted forward under the steering wheel. The seat was handy for an RV. The slide-back door was handy for cruising through drive-in restaraunts.

I was bored so I scanned through the pages of Hemmings SIA and found this:



In 1936 Ford heard about Fuller's Dymaxion Transporters with rear flathead engine and rear wheel steering, so they CYA'd with this patent. Rear engine Ford with four-wheel steering.
