I got the vlink Icar pro, and Downloaded Torque onto my phone. Tried it on a couple hour trip with the Subaru and it was really nice!
Couldn't install the dongle in the Silverado yet because it's off road for repair. Ironically it suddenly developed a slow drip fuel leak somewhere near the top of the tank. The tank is relatively new, so I hope it's just a line leak that can be repaired easily. But I'm leaving that for a mechanic to figure out. Don't want to deal with the bed and tank maneuvering it will take while lying on my back in cold weather. A lift in a warm shop is the only way to go on that.
Funny, a tank leak can really hurt mpg....
Should be back on the road by the 10th.
